EAP Term 2 2023

By watching interviews with two returned Peace Corp volunteers who are Olena and Carmen, I did realised a world of knowledge and experiences through their journey. First of all, they indeed got many experiences in how to prepare carefully prior to having an abroad volunteer such as discovering countries' cultures, and customs, and how to behave appropriately and politely in these societies or communities. Besides, they also got lots of lessons on why we do volunteer and how we share our love and compassion with those who are in need.  Actually, through their beautiful deeds and inspirations, I expect that I could volunteer in different parts of the world in the near future because by doing this, I would be able to widen my heart and my mind to others and broaden my horizons about numerous cultures in the globe. With this chance, I would like to go to some African countries where drought and famine have been widespread and have caused serious to the lives of many residents. 

  I think the world in 10 years time will have more AI and more professions that can work in place of humans.I expect that systems such as facial recognition will become more advanced, and people will be able to shop using facial recognition without wallets.  However, as this facial recognition system develops, there are problems of who will manage it and whether privacy will be properly protected.On the positive side, it makes it easier to prevent crime and find missing persons. Additionally, as I mentioned earlier, lives will be made more convenient.Therefore, it is impossible for me to say whether it will get better or worse.

  I think that in 2043 the world is not going to be as different as it is now. For sure technology will keep changing how we live, making life easier, because we won't have to do many tasks that we normally do today. Hoewever, the way peolple choose to live their lives will be the same, thats because you will keep having the same main options: live in large technological cities, with a lot of population, noise and a big number of services for cover your nececities. Or by other hand, you can choose live in rural areas, with less overcrowding, more nature and less services in your disposal. In my opinion, there is a point where rural zone acquired enough services that you can safety live in that area without improving dead likelihood, so the desicion of live in a big city or in rural zones is determined by the lifestyle that each person leads or wants to lead, more than for a fier of dying. By 2043, I expect that our world will have no more war and conflict between each country. As a result, peace will prevail on Earth completely. Regarding economic development, there will be more and more countries adapting to the fourth industrial and creating sustainable futures for the young generation. Moreover, I wish for a future world will have positively practical methods to reduce gas emissions in order that human being will not endure the serious effects of the so-called phenomenon "climate change" . In terms of technological development, in the year 2043, the number of countries approaching AI technology will be increased significantly. Consequently, the mutual jobs will be replaced by robots, then the human race will have a more convenient and comfortable life. Despite this development, I expect that we will not be lazy in boosting creative thinking. If this happens, our world will be gradually sluggish and worse.   

 I believe the world will improve more and more because of the development of technology, whereas the environment will be getting worth. I think AI will improve more and more. For example, Al will be able to express their emotion in next revolution. I think the world will be better for human, but other animals and plants will receive a bad influence from next revolution. we have to keep my mind that our action effect on the environment.

In the next twenty years, the whole society may be very different. In terms of traffic, cars may be trams or even hydrogen cars. In some cities in China, uber has begun to implement autonomous driving, but it is still relatively slow at present. In the future, everyone's car may be intelligent autonomous driving, and everyone will not need to get a driver's license. From the perspective of living, people may be able to use smart homes, home cooking and mopping things such as machines can help complete, only need to use mobile phones to control it. In terms of teaching, in fact, I don't think artificial intelligence can completely replace teachers, but some teaching work can be completed by artificial intelligence, such as correcting homework, or the application of digital technology is very good, and home class is not a problem.
