Fumiya Nakagawa

 

Hello, my name is Fumiya Nakagawa please call me Fumi. I`m from Kyoto Japan. I`ll be 20 in about a week. I live in Shiel hill with the McAuley family and one room mate who is from Pakistan. The family have a cat. Her name is Becky. She is old cat and so friendly, but she often goes out and sometimes she hunts birds. They are incredibly kind family. I`m happy to stay at their home. I also glad to live in Dunedin, because people are more friendly than my hometown and it has magnificent nature so, I feel very comfortable. In the slow flow of time, I can consider what is important for me. Though, one complaint I have is that the city is too small. I loved world history when I was high school student and that was my best grade in my overall result. I want to learn how to use English in academic field, that is why I chose this course. I like cooking and I usually make lunch. I like eating too but I hate too spicy food. When I have free time, I usually cook but I`ve never cook spicy dishes. I think my good point is calm and attempting to see problems from multiple perspectives. However, some time that takes time to think about it. Throughout this course I want to gain experience for my future job that is supporter of student who is intended to study abroad.

    Hi Fumiya, I think having studied abroad, you'd be able to bring lots of insights to those who are planning to study abroad. I am glad that you find Dunedin a place conducive to reflection. It is good to be able to slow down and consider where you are going. Glad you like cooking, I do too, not that I am that good at it. What do you most like to cook?

      Thank you for your comment. I`m surprised you like cooking. My most favorite dish to cook is Japanese style spaghettis, because it's very easy to cook but healthy and tastes good.

I think that volunteering can enrich peoples live in different ways.   I think the world in 10 years time will have more AI and more professions that can work in place of humans.I expect that systems such as facial recognition will become more advanced, and people will be able to shop using facial recognition without wallets.  However, as this facial recognition system develops, there are problems of who will manage it and whether privacy will be properly protected.On the positive side, it makes it easier to prevent crime and find missing persons. Additionally, as I mentioned earlier, lives will be made more convenient.Therefore, it is impossible for me to say whether it will get better or worse.

 I believe the world will improve more and more because of the development of technology, whereas the environment will be getting worth. I think AI will improve more and more. For example, Al will be able to express their emotion in next revolution. I think the world will be better for human, but other animals and plants will receive a bad influence from next revolution. we have to keep my mind that our action effect on the environment.
