Aina Taniguchi
My name is Aina Taniguchi. I’m from Nara Japan. Now I am 19 years old and live in Roslyn Maori hill with the Ross family and a roommate who is from Korea. My family in Japan consists of my father, my mother, younger brother and me. In Dunedin, I have been to a lot of mountains, tracks and beaches because my roommate has a car, and she is an active person. She is older than me, but we became really close friends. Sometimes she cooks Korean food for me. I would like to cook something Japanese meal for her in return. Spending time in Dunedin is extremely new to me because it is surrounded by mountains and the sea, and nature is rich. In addition, it’s more rural area than I expected. I think I can have a lot of experience here that I cannot have in Japan. By the way my favorite subject was geography at high school because my teacher was really good at teaching and talking interestingly. The reason why I am doing this course is because study abroad is included in my Japanese university program. What I like to do is watching KPOP idol’s dance videos and copying their dance in my free time. And also, I really like eating sweets such as cakes, ice cream and so on. What I don’t like to do is running and swimming. I totally don’t understand what’s fun of running and I don’t have the skill to swim. My good point is kind to everyone and my bad point is easy to appear my emotions on my face. Finally my goal is being able to speak English more fluently than now.
Thank you for sharing about yourself! What is your favorite idol group's dance? Let me show your dancing:)
