An Event that marked My Transition from Childhood to Adulthood -- Ren Funayama
When I was a junior high school student, I experienced an important event which made me grow up. It was to start to go to a cram school. The reason why I went there is that I wanted a tutor to help me study to enter high school. Ordinarily, my English skills were incredibly bad. I thought I would not pass the exam because of my bad English skills. However, my English teacher, Yuriko, helped me improve my English skills. In addition, I found my future dream.
At first, she let me learn about the only grammar that I could not know and she taught me about that until I understood. She made me my own printouts to solve. Thanks to her, I became good at studying English and I became to like English. I gave up continuing to improve the bad points, such as English , in the past. However, I learned from her how important it is that I make an effort to overcome my weak points, so I kept studying until the day of the exam. As a result, I could pass the exam to enrol in high school and I found my dream. It is to become an English teacher like Yuriko.
In conclusion, I have never been distracted from bad things since I met her. Now, I am studying abroad in New Zealand to become a good English teacher. I want to teach students the joys of English and the way to learn English. Yuriko still helps me even though she lives far away. To realize my dream, I am going to keep studying and never give up like those days.
I hope you can be a good English teacher! Good luck.

ReplyDeleteIt is indeed tempting to avoid doing tasks that are difficult. If we keep doing that, though, we'll probably miss out on ways to grow. Keep going, Ren :-)
