Clubs Day Debrief -- Chien Nguyen

Last Thursday, I had a great opportunity to attend one of the biggest events of the year named "Clubs Day". From my initial thinking, I was really impressed and delighted that there were many different clubs with various categories. Honestly, I got many successes after this event.
First of all, my wishbone was participating in a Christian group in which I could explore and make new friends from another Church. Fortunately, I found my favorite club named Otago Christian Fellowship. It was nearly 15 minutes I spent having a conversation with the club's captain - Simon. We did felt really excited and comfortable when exchanging information with each other. Besides, to make effectively our conversation, I used some useful sentences which I had learned in class such as "May I join you?", "It was my pleasure to talk to you", "Nice talking to you", etc.,.....
Eventually, I decided to join this club by giving essential details in the paper. After that, I also joined an online group on Facebook in order to know more information and updates.
It can be said that this event brought me many merits. I could have a big chance to broaden my horizons and enhance my English skills, especially my speaking skills. From that, I not only attended a club but also knew how to communicate with my friends and others efficiently.
I want to give thanks to David for giving us this chance!
