Taking Responsibility -- Asaka Matsuda
I do not tend to take responsibility when I am late. When I do not get there on time, I tend to use excuses about traffic even if it is lack of self time management. The excuse most often use is traffic congestion because I think no one cannot complain about it. Another example, when I am late for class in a morning, I could say that I could not arrive on time because the bus was late. Also, when I am late for the meeting with my friend, it is more likely to make excuse that the path to the destination was too complicated. I know that lateness is caused by my own carelessness, but I tend to hate to take responsibility and use excuses.
To stop this bad behavior, I should manage time not to be late. I have to remember that giving myself enough time is essential. In addition, if I am late, I should apologize with honest reasons.
I agree with your opinion! Especially, in New Zealand, it is hard to arrive on time..
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. Late for schedule by traffic is unavoidable reason so, it's not comfortable to take responsibility for it.
ReplyDeleteSame!!! same as you!!! traffic problem is soo useful for excuse:)
ReplyDeleteI also use this excuse when I can't arrive at the destination on time. But, it is not only responsible for a bus, but also my fault as you said. So, we should do everything earlier.
