Pandemics of the Past: A Reflection Fumiya Nakagawa

From this week I learned a lot of tragedy of pandemic which occurred within few hundred years. Every pandemic contain million of death toll and they spread exponentially. These facts were the most impressing points for me, because it is as or more heinous than the COVID 19 that are currently prevalent, and it dulls the senses to think that today is still better. On the other hand, those serious pandemics might be the good lesson for us. They taught us major factors of infectious disease spreading. We can take action not to follow same rut.

COVID 19 was  an unparalleled and severe infection. Countless people have died because of it. Even in this pandemic, it has silver lining. Public health awareness has increased dramatically, and as a result, the flu epidemic is under control.
