A Problem I Have Solved -- Nao Miyahara
I had a serious difficulty when I came to New Zealand. I got homesick because New Zealand has different cultures, food, and lifestyles. Therefore, I really missed Japanese food, my family, my friends, and the life I had spent before. Also, I couldn’t tell anyone about this problem because I thought that only I had got homesick. However, my friends told me that they had a similar challenge, so I was able to tell my problem to my friends. After that, I went out every weekend, and we did fun things. For example, we went to the cinema to watch a movie and went to eat at restaurants. As a result, I no longer have time to think about Japan and can enjoy my life in New Zealand. Throughout this experience, I learn that I mustn’t hold a serious problem for myself, and I have to talk to someone I trust.
